Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is the Mexican American journalist. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since the age of nine. Her abilities were crucial in securing her first position as producer assistant at Univision Miami, where she collaborated with producers of programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. After this, her CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. She worked as a journalist with KNVO TV 48 Univision in Rio Grande Valley Texas. She reported on stories related to illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking in both Texas and Mexico. She was also often asked to fill in as an anchor for the weather or sports. Deportes 23 in Dallas, the Univision affiliate station for Dallas. There she had more duties. She reported on The Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys as well as the NBA Postseason and the Finals FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. In the past, they relocated from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She also has a sister. In 1992, her family moved out of Mexico and moved to Miami. In 1992, her parents split soon after. In 1995, she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was the engineer for naval vessels who passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was on a summer vacation that she stayed with her sibling at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured an employment. Antonietta who was in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her life to look like, came to Mount Union University to check whether it was a good fit for her. The result was that she loved the campus, and they had the program she wanted. When she completed her high school education, she enrolled in the university to study media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a part of her class, formed a strong relationship with the student. The passion he had for journalism as well as her self-confidence inspired her. She, in turn was determined to achieve the requirements of his boss and not disappoint him.
